Soul and Style Slate 11: Winter 2016

Soul & Style_Inspiration_Winter Walks and Handmade Pottery~

This week we’re inspired by the snow storm that blanketed the east coast. After a the winds died down, the snow came to a halt and the sun showed it’s shinning side on Sunday, the whole city was soft, snowy white and solitude was found left and right. There’s nothing like a winter walk in the woods and then a hot bowl of soup in a handmade piece of pottery. Above images of our “backyard” forest and pottery by Janaki Larsen.

When it comes to winter wear and accessories, opting for warmth is always a plus. Jewelry is bare minimum, stud earrings (don’t want to loose those dangles among the chaos of a hat, scarf and winter locks) and a midi-ring, the way it peeks out from finger-less gloves is beyond fun.
